Looking back at February
It’s the 29th!
The last day of February of 2012.

Anyway,
February has been… an interesting month, to put it generally. I’ve learned a lot and felt a lot. Got my first rejection letter and finished the short story I was working on. Managed to keep my work and writing in rhythm and it was great. Added with a pinch of real life drama and such of course.
To recap, on the first week of February, I posted several objectives for myself. Something I’d do during the whole of February. And it turns out, I managed to do 3 out of the 4 objectives. Nice. Could’ve done better, but hey, 3 out of 4 isn’t actually a failure, not when your school is life itself.
So, for the sake of recapping, here are the 4 objectives I made on the first week of February:
1. to finish my short story (I”ve 1 and 3/4 left to write) and start editing.
2. Start a new story.
3. Put some more words into Leaper (my long term project)
4. Read at least 4 books.
5. (if I get my Prime this month) Start doing cover designs.
No.5 I couldn’t do since I cancelled buying the Prime when I heard Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Note 10.1 (damn you Samsung!!). And out of the 4, I managed to finish no.1,2 and 3.
For no.4, well, let’s just say I got the pacing wrong. I thought of reading everyday before sleep, but ended up sleeping before I could even finish a page. So yeah. I did however managed to finish 2 books. THE NEON COURT by Kate Griffin and SCARECROW and THE ARMY OF THIEVES by Matthew Reilly. Both have great stories, but I liked Kate Griffin’s writing style better.
There you go. That has been my February 2012. Will post my new objectives for March tomorrow, since tomorrow is.. well, March.
And that’s it.
HOW WAS YOUR FEBRUARY?
