Welcome 2013
2013.
A new year.
A new start.
I always love new year. Though I know it can also be depressing, but I’d rather see it in a positive way. It has this special feelings to it. A joyous feeling. Like when you first move to your new house. It has that new-ish smell to it. Though nothing is new, but new year gives that sense to me. Which is why I always love new year.
But with new year comes new resolutions. New objectives. New wishlist.
And that’s what I’m going to talk about here.
New objectives.
So, last year, I set out to do 4 things. And I failed all of them.
This year though. I know I won’t.
Okay, maybe I don’t know. But I know I’ll try to get it done.
So, without further ado. Here are my “what-everyone-else-is-doing” New Year’s resolutions (or yearly objectives):
1) To Self-Publish at least one book.
I know this was my last year’s resolution, but I’m bringing it forward simply as a goal for me to reach.
2) To read a book a month.
I’m a slow reader. I realized that last year. And I hope this will help me thin out those to-read piles I have.
3) To learn more about Grammar and stuff of all three languages that I have.
Yes, I can speak 3 language rather fluently, which is why I work as a translator. This is, much like number 1. A goal for me to reach.
4) To try and travel as much as possible.
This is only achieveable if I can get my hands on a Microsoft Surface Pro. Before March.
And that’s it.
I don’t know if this is realistic or not, but hey, figuring that as I go is what makes life fun, don’t you think?
So,
What is(are) your new year’s resolution(s)?
